BHEL bags railway electrification contract

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), has bagged its first ever railway electrification contract worth Rs 350 crore.

BHEL will electrify Birlanagar – Etawah, Bhandai – Udi and Farrukhabad – Shikohabad (including Mainpuri – Etawah) of North Central Railway (NCR) under Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract to be executed under the aegis of Central Organisation for Railway Electrification (CORE), said a statement  from the PSU.
