Total allocation for Central Railway Rs.7638 crore (excluding Extra Budgetary Resources & Deposit)

Net Plan outlay of CR for the year 2019-20 is ₹4306 crore and for the year 2020-21 is ₹4399 crore which is an increase of 2.16%

Major allocations

·         Ahmednagar – Beed – Parli Vaijnath (250 km) – Rs.449.5 crore

·         Baramati – Lonand (54 km) – Rs.3 crore

·         Wardha – Nanded (via Yevatmal-Pusood) (270 km) – Rs. 450 crore

·         Indore – Manmad via Malegaon (368 km) – Rs.4984 crore (including EBR)

DOUBLING/3RD LINE/4TH LINE

·         Kalyan-Kasara – 3rd line (67.62 km) – Rs.55 crore

COMPUTERISATION

Major allocations

·         Central Railway – Extension of automatic ticket vending machines – Rs.1 crore

·         Replacement of 337 Nos. smart card based Automatic Ticket Vending Machines (ATVMs), and others – Rs. 1 crore

·         Replacement of 605 Nos Smart card based Automatic Ticket Vending Machines (ATVMs) – Rs.1 crore

ROAD OVER BRIDGES/RUBS    – RS.351 Crore

·         Vikhroli – Road over bridge in lieu of level crossing No.14-C – Rs.3 crore

·         Diva – Road over bridge in lieu of Railway crossing No.29-C – Rs.7 crore

·         Badnera – Setting up of wagon repair (periodical overhauling) workshop – Rs. 99 crore

·         Ratnagari – Setting up of rolling stock component factory – Rs.10 crore

·         Kurduwadi Workshop – Facilities for augmenting periodical overhauling capacity from 20 to 120 BG wagon per month – Rs.32.68 crore

·         Matunga – Facilities for augmentation of bogie periodical overhauling capacity from 350 to 575 bogies/month & other allied works – Rs.30 crore

·         Latur – Setting up of coach manufacturing factory – Rs.55 crore

·         Mumbai Division – Construction of foot over bridges at Dadar,Mulund, Vikroli, Titwala, Atgaon, Ulhasnagar, Kasara,Ambivali, Vasind, Vadala, Govandi & Tilak Nagar – Rs. 38.5 crore

·         Central Railway – Soft upgrades improvements at stations – Rs.35 crore

·         Central Railway – Provision of foot over bridges and/or high level platforms at stations as per requirement – Rs.132 crore

·         Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (Heritage Building) – Replacement of wooden beams / rafters, frames / shutters & flooring etc at various locations – Rs.9.3 crore

METROPOLITAN TRANSPORT PROJECTS  – Rs.656.6 crore
