N Kashinath of Indian Railways Service of Signal Engineers, currently serving as Director General (Signal & Telecom) in the Railway Board has been re-designated as Member (Signal & Telecom). He is the first Member (S&T) appointed by the Indian Railways.
This follows the Railway Ministry’s decision to re-designate the post of Director General (Signal & Telecom) as Member (Signal & Telecom) post the Union Cabinet’s approval for this cadre restructuring exercise.
He will hold the position of Member (S&T) until further orders or until
