Southern Railway has presented wards of its serving and retired employees a crack at getting a job in the private sector. Yes, you read it right.
Southern Railway, under the aegis of CSBF, is organizing a Job Mela sometime in June 2019. All the Divisions and Workshops have been notified to accept applications from such wards for jobs in Information Technology, Services, Manufacturing, Automobile, Logistics, etc.
Based on the response to various sectors, Southern Railway will arrange training to these applicants and make them job-ready. This training will be handy for the wards to give their best shot at selection.
Applications are expected to be filed up to mid-April at the Divisional and Workshop levels – these will be consolidated by the Personnel Branch at Southern Railway Headquarters.
