After weeks of waiting, the 12289 / 90 Nagpur – Mumbai Duronto will finally be switched to a full LHB rake on 23rd February 2019.
Nitin Gadkari, Member of Parliament for Nagpur and Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways, is to be present at the ceremony that is to be conducted at 11 am, instead of at the scheduled departure time of the train at 20:40 hrs.
This comes after a local report called out Central Railway for delaying the switchover to the new rake for lack of available dignitaries.
Also to be inaugurated is the switch of 22137 / 38 Nagpur – Ahmedabad – Nagpur Prerana Express to LHB, likely from tomorrow. Another train set to go LHB is the 11203 / 04 Nagpur – Jaipur Express.
Mr. Gadkari will also dedicate several new escalators and a new 100 ft flag at Nagpur station.
