West Central Railway has announced a five hour megablock on each Wednesday,Saturday and Sunday of March 2019 on the Bina-Katni section of Jabalpur division. Similarly a two and a half hour mega-block will be taken on each Monday and Friday of March 2019 on the Bina-Guna section of Bhopal division.
Impact
A slew of trains have been cancelled/partially cancelled/re-scheduled as a result. The Guna -BIna passenger has been cancelled on each of March in both directions. So is the Katni Chirmiri -Katni Passenger on each Tuesday/Wednesday and Friday/Saturday in both directions. The Gwalior Bina passenger has been partially cancelled between Guna and Bina. Train such as Bhopal-Bilaspur express, Katni-Bina passenger, Jabalpur-Atari express, Jabalpur-Somnath express and the Ambikapur Jabalpur express have been re-scheduled. Passengers have been asked to check the re-scheduled timings.
