Post the merger of these two trains, the Chhindwara Firozpur express will bypass Delhi Sarai Rohilla. However, it has been provided two halts in Delhi area- Delhi Safdarjung and Shakurbasti en-route to Firozpur.

Chhindwara-Amritsar slip coaches withdrawn

IR has also decided to withdraw the Chhindwara-Amritsar slip coaches being attached /detached at Amla to Train number 18237 /38 Gevra Road- Amritsar Chhattisgarh Express. Instead, IR has decided to attach an extra sleeper coach to this train.

The changes will be implemented from advance reservation period (ARP) or no booking date.

Both these changes follow the decision taken at the IR’s Time Table Coordination Conference held at Puri in February 2019. [The conference aims to sort out problems of train movements across IR and is attended by Chief Passenger Transportation Managers of each zone].
