M&M Loads Train With Bolero Pickups at Kalamboli, Sends Them to Bangladesh

Mahindra & Mahindra has dispatched 87 of its Bolero Pickup vehicles to Benapole in Bangladesh by train for the first time.

The vehicles were loaded at Central Railway’s goods siding in Kalamboli.

A New Modified Goods (NMG) rake of 23 wagons is being used to transport the 87 vehicles to Benapole. Central Railway will earn revenue of Rs. 21.29 lakh from this shipment.

Central Railway has set up a siding at Kalamboli exclusively for the transportation of automobiles. Similar facilities were also provided for automobile transportation at Chinchwad station on Pune Division, Nashik station on Bhusaval Division, Butibori and Ajni stations on Nagpur Division and Bale station on Solapur division. 

The vehicles were loaded by National Carrier Corporation, a logistic partner for Indian Railways and Mahindra & Mahindra.
