A Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) was signed on 19/12/19 among Delhi Development Authority (DDA), Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) and Indian Railway Stations Development Corporation Ltd. (IRSDC) for development/redevelopment of Anand Vihar and Bijwasan Railway Stations, New Delhi on revenue sharing basis.
The agreement was signed by DDA Vice Chairman, Sh. Tarun Kapoor and RLDA Vice Chairman, Sh. Ved Parkash Dudeja in the presence of MD & CEO, IRSDC, Sh. S.K. Lohia and Finance Member, DDA, Sh. K. Vinayak Rao at DDA Head office, New Delhi.
RLDA and IRSDC will transform these two stations on Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode and turn them into world class railway stations having airport like facilities for passengers. EPC contracts have already been awarded for redevelopment of these two stations by IRSDC.
