Speed trials will be conducted on the newly doubled Bachwara-Mohiuddin Nagar section of East Central Railway [a part of Bachwara –Hajipur line] on March 31. The general public has been cautioned not to cross the new line.
6 new RUBs on Ara-Sasaram
East Central Railway’s Mughasarai division will take a corridor block to replace six level crossings by road-under-bridges between Ara and Sasaram on March 31, April 4, 7,10 and 15.
The block will be taken between 0900 hours and 1400 hours on these days. As a result, train number 54271 /72 Pandit DeenDayal Upadhyay Jn (DDU) Ara –DDU MEMU will be cancelled between Sasaram and Ara.
In addition, train number 53212 Sasaram-Patna Passenger will be rescheduled by 145 minutes, 13250 Bhabhua –Patna inter-city by 60 minutes and 75272 Ara-Sasaram Passenger by 60 minutes.
Freight convoy run between Muzaffarpur and Paniyahawa
A freight convoy being run between Muzaffarpur and Paniyahawa will result in the cancellation of DMU local trains and passenger trains between Narkatiaganj and Muzaffarpur, Gorakhpur-Narkatiaganj, besides Gorakhpur –Bettiah on March 31.
Sealdah-Muzaffarpur fast passenger has been short–terminated at Barauni and will return from Barauni on March 31.
On March 31, the departure of Muzaffarpur-Bandra express and Muzaffarpur –Narkatiaganj Intercity express has been re-scheduled by 120 and 60 minutes respectively.
