Western Railway will run 26 summer specials between Ahmedabad and Chennai Central via Vasai Road starting April 8.
Train number 06052 will run each Monday from Ahmedabad at 0940 hours reaching Chennai the next day at 1710 hours from April 8 to July 1.
In the opposite direction, train number 06051 will run from April 6 to June 29 leaving Chennai at 2010 hours each Saturday and reaching Ahmedabad at 0545 hours on Monday.
The train will have AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier and Sleeper class coaches.
It will halt at Nadiad, Anand, Vadodara, Surat, Vapi, Boisar, Vasai Road, Kalyan. Lonawala, Pune, Daund, Solapur, Wadi, Yadgir, Raichur, Mantralayam Road, Adoni, Guntakal Jn., Gooty, Tadipatri, Yerraguntla, Cuddapah, Razampeta, Koduru, Renigunta and Arkkonam stations in both directions. In addition, train No. 06052 will also halt at Perambur station.
Bookings open on March 21.
