CR: Railway Protection Force Reunites Lost Person With Family at Manmad

The RPF team of Manmad station with their timely action reunited a mentally disturbed person with his family. At about 00.10 hrs on 1.7.2020, the Inspector, RPF Post, Manmad, received a call from a person for help. He said that his father named Bokul Chandra Das (M-60 years) traveling by Train No.02809 CSMT-Howrah Special, berth No.60 in B-1 coach and his luggage was stolen. Further, informed that his father is mentally is disturbed, needs help and the train has just left Nasik.

The RPF team of Manmad immediately swung into action. As soon as the train reached Manmad at around 01.00 hrs, Sub-Inspector A.K. Singh along with his team attended the coach, but passenger Bokul Chandra was not in the coach.

The coach conductor Shri Ibrahim informed that no passenger turned up on berth no.60. The Sub-inspector requested for Sh Bokul’s mobile number and received the same from Sh Bokul’s son. He called on the mobile number, but the person attending the phone was unable to give a reply.

He asked the person to give the phone to a fellow passenger, who revealed that they are traveling in Train No. 01015 Gorakhpur Special in coach number S-12. On arrival at Manmad at about 03.25 hrs, they found the person. The matter was informed to Ujjwal Das, son of Bokul Chandra Das who requested to detain his father there only and he will come personally to take his father.

Shri Ujjwal Chandra Das along with his cousin Raju arrived at Manmad on 2.7.2020 at 19.30 hrs. The RPF team of Manmad reunited Shri Bokul Chandra Das safely with his son Ujjwal Chandra Das. The family appreciated the RPF team for their timely and prompt action.
