Titagarh Rail Systems Ltd (formerly Titagarh Wagons Ltd), announced appointment of three key management personnel to drive business growth.
The company appointed Anil Kumar Agarwal as Deputy Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (DMD & CEO) for its freight systems business, effective December 20,2023. Agarwal has been with TRSL for 25 years. [TRSL, the largest producer of freight wagons in India has four units in its freight rail systems business -three in Kolkata and one in Bharatpur].
Prithish Chowdhary, presently Director (Marketing & Business Development), has been elevated as Deputy CEO (Passenger Rail Systems) in line with the company’s strategy to grow its passenger systems business. He will report to the CEO of passenger business Umesh Chowdhary, also the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of TRSL [Presently, TRSL is executing orders of metro railways of Pune, Bengaluru, Surat and Ahmedabad].
With this, TRSL will now have CEOs for both its business segments with the VC and MD providing strategic direction. Finally, TRSL has elevated Saurav Singhania as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
