WR to bring down Delisle bridge at Lower Parel on February 2 and 3

11-hr block will see a slew of trains being cancelled /short-terminated/ re-located /regulated/re-scheduled

Passengers travelling over the Western Railway’s local trains, please note. Trains will not run on WR’s fast corridor between Churchgate and Dadar and between Churchgate and Bandra on the slow corridor for 11 hours between 2200 hours on February 2 and 0900 hours on February 3.

The reason – De-lisle bridge over Lower Parel Station will be brought down during the first weekend of February.

All slow local trains in UP direction will be received and despatched from platform number 2 at Bandra  while fast locals will be received and despatched from Platforms 4 and 5 at Dadar, WR added.

Of the 404 services during the major block, 205 services will be cancelled and 199 services will run. Their details will be available at all stations with the station masters of the suburban section WR said.

 Main line trains cancelled /short-terminated/ re-scheduled

 Five trains each have been cancelled on February 2 and 3 respectively. On February 2, Ahmedabad passenger  and Rajkot Duranto in both directions and the outgoing Indore Duranto on February 2 have been cancelled. On February 3,

The outgoing Gujarat express, Valsad Fast passenger in both directions, Gujarat Queen express and the incoming Indore Duronto have been cancelled.

On February 3, incoming trains such as Ahmedabad passenger, Golden Temple Mail, Avantika express, Saurashtra Mail  and  Jaipur Superfast  will be short-terminated at Borivali while the incoming Vadodara express will be short-terminated at Dadar.

The same day, the incoming Mumbai Rajdhani and the August Kranti Rajdhani express trains will be regulated at Borivali and Andheri for a period of about 60 and 15 minutes respectively

On February 2, the outgoing Gujarat Mail and Vadodara express trains will depart from Dadar (instead of Mumbai Central) at 2220 hours and 2350 hours respectively.

The outgoing Ahmedabad passenger on February 3 will leave Borivali at 1335 hours instead of Mumbai Central.

 Finally, on February 3, the outgoing Ferozepur Janata and Saurashtra express will be rescheduled to leave Mumbai Central at 0900 hours and 0920 hours respectively- post the completion of the major block.
