CR nets Rs 192.51 crore from ticketless travellers in 2019

Central Railway earned Rs 192.51 crore from 37.64 lakh cases of ticketless and irregular travel detected during the calendar year 2019 (January to December).

CR earned Rs 168.30 crore from 34.09 cases detected in the year ago period.

As compared to last year the earnings registered showed an increase of 14.39 per cent  and cases detected showed an increase of 10.41per cent.

Special Train to Nasik

CR will run one special train on February 8,2020 from Dadar to Nasik Road and back for the annual pilgrimage to the shrine of Infant Jesus at Nasik Road.

Train number  01241 Dn Dadar – Nasik Road special will leave Dadar (from platform No.5) at 07.50 hrs on 08.02.2020 and will reach Nasik Road same day at 11.10 hrs. In return direction, Train number 01242 Up Nasik Road – Dadar special will leave Nasik Road at 19.45 hrs on 08.02.2020 and will arrive Dadar at 23.45 hrs same day.

This train will halt at Thane, Kalyan, Kasara and Igatpuri stations on both directions. 

 Bookings for the sleeper class coach of Train No. 01241/01242 on special charges will open on 04.02.2020 at all PRS locations and on website www.irctc.co.in. General second class coaches of this special will run as unreserved coaches and will be booked through UTS system as applicable for superfast mail/express trains.
