Automatic Block Signalling (ABS) was commissioned in the 24-km Tetulmari-Chhota Ambana section on the Grand Chord line according to a post by East Central Railway (ECR) on social media platform x.
With this, automatic signalling has been commissioned on the entire 210-km stretch of Grand Chord line falling under ECR’s Dhanbad division jurisdiction from Manpur Jn (excluding) to Pradhakhunta Jn (including).
The section spans ECR’s Dhanbad Division between Tetulmari and Pradhankhunta Jn and Eastern Railway’s (ER) Asansol Division between Pradhankhunta Jn and Chhota Ambana.
