The Ministry of Railways has sanctioned the survey for the proposed 240-km Dharashiv–Beed–Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar new railway line for the preparation of a Detailed Project Report (DPR). The survey work has already been taken up.
This information was given by the Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, in a written reply in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday, July 22,2026.
