Central Railway will operate a traffic and power block on both the Up and Down lines between Khadavli and Asangaon from 01.15 hrs to 03.00 hrs on March 1 (midnight of Thu-Fri). The block has been taken to launch a six-meter-wide foot over bridge girders at Vasind station on the Kalyan – Kasara North East line.
As a result, Mahanagari Express will leave at 0100 hours instead of 0010 hours on March 1. Train number 12167 LTT – Varanasi Express will leave at 0130 hours, the same day instead of 00.35 hrs.
The 0015 hours Kasara local leaving CSMT at 0015 hours on March 1 has been re-scheduled to leave at 01.00 hrs.
Mail/Express trains arriving Mumbai during the block period will be regulated short of Atgaon and will arrive at their destination 40 to 55 minutes behind schedule.
