Two coaches of Magadh express uncouple in ECR’s Danapur division; everyone safe

On Sunday (September 8, 2024) morning, two sleeper coaches (S-6 and S-7) of train number 20802 DN Magadh express from New Delhi to Islampur uncoupled after passing Twining Ganj railway station at 11:07 hours, said a statement from East Central Railway (ECR). This station is situated in Danapur division of ECR.

According to the statement from ECR, the incident happened at KM marker 635/32 at 11.08 hrs between Twining Ganj- Raghunathpur stations on the DN line (between Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn and Patna Jn). The uncoupled coaches were the 13th (coach no-SER-192158-S-7) and the 14th ( coach no SER-182333- S-6) from locomotive.

The self propelled Accident relief train (SPART) was called at 11.35 hrs. The train started from Raghunathpur at 14.25 hrs, the statement added.
