WDFC: First Outward Rake Dispatched from New Saradhna GCT

The first outward export container rake from the Gati Shakti Multi Modal Cargo Terminal (GCT) siding developed by Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC) at New Saradhna station on the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor ( WDFC) was successfully dispatched on April 15, 2026.

The terminal provides direct rail connectivity to Kishangarh-Bhiwadi industrial area as it is connected to the WDFC. The GCT has a 17,500 sqm container yard and 943m loop line. A 140 MT electronic weighbridge is also installed.

It benefits marble, granite, cement industries in Kishangarh, Bhiwadi, Rajsamand besides emerging solar manufacturing units in Kishangarh-Ajmer. Inbound cargo include cement clinker, coal, fly ash, fertilizers while outbound cargo include marble, granite slabs, cement products and agricultural products.
