Railways will revise the timings of some special trains with immediate effect as under:-
A. Revised Timings of Mumbai – Nagpur Superfast special train
Train No. 02049 Journey commencing on 29.1.2021 and 1.2.2021 will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai at 23.30 hrs and arrive Nagpur at 13.20 hrs next day.
Train No. 02050 Journey commencing on 28.1.2021 and 31.1.2021 will leave Nagpur at 21.45 hrs and arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai at 12.20 hrs next day.
B. Cancellation of one pair of Mumbai – Nagpur superfast special
Train No. 02049 superfast special leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai 25.1.2021 and Train No. 02050 superfast special leaving Nagpur on 24.1.2021 will remain cancelled due to planned blocks on Mumbai Division.
C. Revised Timings of special trains with immediate effect
1. Nagpur – Ahmedabad Superfast specials
Train No. 01137 superfast special will leave Nagpur at 08.15 hrs with immediate effect and arrive Ahmedabad 00.35 hrs next day
Train No. 01138 superfast special will leave Ahmedabad at 18.30 hrs with immediate effect and arrive Nagpur 10.25 hrs next day
2. Pune-Veraval specials
Train No. 01088 special will leave Pune at 20.10 hrs with immediate effect and arrive Veraval 16.25 hrs next day
Train No. 01087 special will leave Veraval at 10.45 hrs with immediate effect and arrive Pune at 07.35 hrs next day.
3. Nagpur-Mumbai Superfast special
Timings of Train No. 02170 Nagpur-Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai superfast special have been changed at Ajni, Wardha and Dhamangaon stations with immediate effect.
Extension of Run of Special Trains
Railways will extend the run of special trains to clear the extra rush of passengers as per details given below:
· 02880 Bhubaneshwar-LTT (Mon, Thu) extended from 1.2.2021 to 29.3.2021
· 02879 LTT-Bhubaneshwar (Wed, Sat) extended from 3.2.2021 to 31.3.2021
· 02866Puri-LTT (Tue) extended from 2.2.2021 to 30.3.2021
· 02865 LTT-Puri (Thu) extended from 4.2.2021 to 1.4.2021
· 02857Visakhapatnam-LTT (Sun) extended from 7.2.2021 to 28.3.2021
· 02858 LTT-Visakhapatnam (Tue) extended from 9.2.2021 to 30.3.2021
The run of following trains passing through Central Railway have also been extended
· 02827Puri-Surat (Sun) extended from 7.2.2021 to 28.3.2021
· 02828Surat-Puri (Tue) extended from 9.2.2021 to 30.3.2021
· 02851 Visakhapatnam-HazratNizamuddin (Mon,Fri) extended from 1.2.2021 to29.3.2021
· 02852 HazratNizamuddin-Visakhapatnam (Wed,Sun) extended from 3.2.2021 to 31.3.2021
· 02887 Visakhapatnam-HazratNizamuddin (Tue,Wed,Thu,Sat,Sun) extended from 2.2.2021 to 31.3.2021
· 02888HazratNizamuddin-Visakhapatnam (Thu,Fri,Sat,Mon,Tue) extended from 4.2.2021 to 2.4.2021
· 08501 Visakhapatnam-Gandhidham (Thu) extended from 4.2.2021 to 25.3.2021
· 08502Gandhidham-Visakhapatnam (Sun) extended from 7.2.2021 to 28.3.2021
Reservation: Bookings for 02879, 02865 and 02858 special trains on special charges will open on 22.01.2021 at all Computerized Reservation Centres and on website: www.irctc.co.in
What about LTT to Chennai fast express?
A train form LTT to Karaikal on every Saturday. This train is really nice to south without changing at Chennai. We wish it should be increased to 3 days a week. Hope railway may look into.
