The Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS), Eastern Circle on Thursday, inspected the 3.9-km new line from Deoghar Link Cabin to Kumrabad Rohini Station.
He conducted a motor trolley inspection of the new line to evaluate the new line. He examined track geometry, points and crossings, bridges, culverts, overhead equipment (OHE) and signalling along the route.
He then conducted a speed trial on the new line also known as the Jasidih bypass line. The line will enable trains from Asansol side towards Deoghar to avoid reversal at Jasidih Junction.
