Several passengers escaped unhurt when train number 12181 Jabalpur Ajmer Dayodaya Express derailed at Sanganer station near Jaipur today around 12:55 hrs.
The locomotive and one coach bore the brunt of the derailment. The cause of derailment is yet to be ascertained.
Sanganer is a station near Jaipur in Jaipur division of North Western Railway
The derailment has disrupted traffic on the Jaipur – Sawai Madhopur route. As a result, several trains have been delayed or cancelled.
