MAHSR: NHSRCL Signs Agreement For Anand-Sabarmati Package with IRCON-DineshChandra JV

NHSRCL and an IRCON-Dineshchandra Joint Venture today signed an agreement to design and construct stations and viaduct between Anand and Sabarmati for the Mumbai Ahmedabad High Speed Rail project.

Scope of work includes design and construction for two stations and approximately 18 kilometres of the viaduct between the two points. This is the C7 package of the line.

According to a statement released by National High Speed Rail Corporation (NHSRCL), the Ahmedabad HSR station will be built above the Indian Railways’ Ahmedabad station’s Saraspur side. The elevated structure will be built over platform 11 and 12 at the station.

NHSRCL has planned an integrated passenger transit building on the east side of the existing station. This will enable passengers to switch between the Indian Railways trains and the HSR trains. The building will have escalators, elevators and booking offices, a concourse, tea/coffee kiosks and so on.
