Oxygen Express Reaches Visakhapatnam Steel Plant This Morning, To Complete Loading Today

The Oxygen Express dispatched from Mumbai’s Kalamboli with seven oxygen tanker trucks has reached Visakhapatnam Steel Plant today, according to East Coast Railway.

The tanker trucks have been moved off the wagons and are being loaded with around 15 tons of Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO) each. As a result, a total of 105 tons of LMO will be dispatched through the train back to Maharashtra, says the zone.

The Oxygen Express was dispatched on the night of 19th April from Mumbai and took a long route through Vasai Road, Surat, Jalgaon, Bhusawal, Nagpur, Raipur and towards Visakhapatnam passing through Central Railway, Western Railway, Central Railway again, South East Central Railway and finally East Coast Railway.
