To clear the rush of passengers on the occasion of Kali Puja on 27.10.2019 (Sunday), Sealdah Division of Eastern Railway will run all suburban services after 14.00 hrs as week days and continue its services having stoppages at all stations including flag and halt en route.
Besides, following Kali Puja suburban special trains will run on 27/28.10.2019 (Night) & 28/29.10.2019 (Night):-
1. Sealdah – Dankuni special leaving Sealdah at 23.30 hrs.
2. Sealdah – Barasat special leaving Sealdah at 00.32 hrs.
3. Sealdah – Ranaghat special leaving Sealdah at 00.40 hrs.
4. Baruipur – Sealdah (South) special leaving Baruipur at 01.25 hrs.
5. Dankuni – Sealdah special leaving Dankuni at 00.25 hrs.
6. Barasat – Sealdah special leaving Barasat at 01.30 hrs.
7. Ranaghat – Sealdah special leaving Ranaghat at 23.45 hrs.
8. Sealdah (South) – Baruipur special leaving Sealdah (South) at 00.30 hrs.
The special trains will stop at all stations enroute including flag & halt stations.
One down passenger special train for Baruipur will run from Sealdah (South) on 27.10.2019 departing Sealdah at 17.35 hrs. to follow the link of 34332 DN Baruipur – Lakshmikantapur local from Baruipur.
However, following local trains will remain cancelled after 14.00 hrs. on 27.10.2019 (Kali Puja):-
1) 34502 Sealdah – Canning Matribhoomi local
2) 34355 Canning – Sonarpur local
3) 34602 Sealdah – Baruipur Matribhoomi local
4) 33401 Sealdah – Barasat Matribhoomi local
5) 33801 Sealdah – Bangaon Matribhoomi local
6) 33366 Bangaon – Barasat local
7) 31801 Sealdah – Krishnanagar Matribhoomi local
8) 31838 Krishnanagar – Sealdah local
9) 31601 Sealdah – Ranaghat Matribhoomi local
10) 31634 Ranaghat – Sealdah local
Moreover, 33437 Sealdah – Barasat local, 31712/31711 & 31714/31713 Ranaghat – Naihati – Ranaghat local will remain cancelled on 27.10.2019.
Local trains regulated to facilitate immersion of Goddess Kali
To facilitate immersion of idols of Goddess Kali in the Hooghly River, Circular Railway train services will be controlled in the evenings of 28.10.2019 (Monday), 29.10.2019(Tuesday), 30.10.2019 (Wednesday) and 31.10.2019 (Thursday).
Consequently, following arrangement in train running have been made:
Short termination/Origination
·4 (four) pairs of Circular Railway EMU locals will be short terminated at/originated from Kolkata station.
·1 (one) pair of Circular Railway EMU locals will be short terminated at/originated from Majerhat station,
·1 (one) pair of Circular Railway EMU locals will be short terminated at/originated from Ballygunge station.
Besides, 2 (two) pairs of Circular Railway EMU locals will be diverted to terminate at/originate from Sealdah (North) and 1 (one) train will be diverted via Kakurgachhi-Ballygunge route.
