संरक्षा आयुक्त (रेलवे) पूर्वी सर्किल श्री सुवोमोय मित्रा, द्वारा दिनांक 15.09.2023 को सगौली-वाल्मीकिनगर दोहरीकरण परियोजना के अंतर्गत 09 किमी लंबे नव दोहरीकृत बगहा-वाल्मीकिनगर रेलखंड का निरीक्षण किया गया । इसके साथ ही वाल्मिकीनगर से बगहा स्टेशन तक स्पेशल ट्रेन द्वारा 120 किमी/घंटा की गति से सफलतापूर्वक स्पीड ट्रायल भी किया गया । विदित हो कि 110 किमी लंबे सगौली – वाल्मीकिनगर दोहरीकरण परियोजना के अंतर्गत अब तक 41 किलोमीटर रेलखंड का दोहरीकरण कार्य पूरा कर इसकी कमीशनिंग की जा चुकी है । इस परियोजना के अंतर्गत 09 किलोमीटर लंबे बगहा-वाल्मीकिनगर रेलखंड का सीआरएस द्वारा निरीक्षण किये जाने के उपरांत अब तक कुल 50 किमी रेलखंड का दोहरीकरण का कार्य पूरा हो गया है। शेष बचे कार्य का निर्धारित समय में पूरा करने हेतु तीव्र गति से कार्य किया जा रहा है। Read more
