
Delhi division, Northern Railway (NR) posted a strong 32 per cent year-on-year growth in automobile loading at 2170 rakes for the 11-month period from April 2025- February 2026. The division carried 1639 rakes in the year-ago period. Delhi division generated revenue of ₹324.10 crore in 2025-26 (Apr-Feb period) up 36.47 vis-a-vis last year’s ₹237.48 crores.
Delhi division is currently loads automobiles from Farukhnagar, Gurgaon, Patli, Manesar and Rajlugarhi, while JCBs and tractors are being loaded from Ballabhgarh Terminal.

New Initiatives to boost Loading
• Manesar (MSGM GCT) terminal was inaugurated and the first train was flagged off by Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on June 17, 2025.
A total of 611 rakes have been loaded from this terminal up to February 2026.
• Automobile loading from Rajlugarhi (PCRG/RUG ) commenced on July 25, 2025, when the first rake was dispatched to Nidavanda (NDV). Up to February 2026, 13 rakes have been loaded from this terminal.
• Loading of automobiles for Anantnag (Jammu & Kashmir) has also been started from October 1, 2025, expanding rail connectivity for vehicle transportation to the valley.
With the addition of the Manesar and Rajlugarhi terminals, Delhi division achieved 237 rakes in Oct’25 and 234 rakes in Feb’26. The division’s best ever automobile loading in a single day was November 14,2025 when it loaded 13 rakes and 360 wagons while its second best was on October 7,2025 when 12 rakes and 320 wagons were loaded.
