Central Railway has extended the cancellation/short-termination of 10 train pairs from October 30 to November 30, 2019 for doing maintenance woks on the South East line at Bhor Ghat.
Rail settlement works in the Lonavala-Kalyan Section of Mumbai division on Central Railway is being done between Km 117/11 – 117/07 (between Monkey Hill and Nagnath Cabin) on the UP line. Hence rail traffic on Bhor Ghat will be run only on the DOWN and the mid line.
These works are important to strengthen the ghat section alignment as a lot of damage happened during this year’s monsoon on account of landslides, water-logging and the like.
