UPDATE: WR to ply 20 more services in addition to CR’s 162
CR to run 162 special trains towards Konkan region for Ganapati Festival
Central Railway will run 162 special trains between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus / Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Sawantwadi Road / Kudal/ Ratnagiri to clear the extra rush of passengers during Ganpati Festival 2020. These specials will be fully reserved trains. The details are as under:
Passengers are advised to adhere all norms, SOPs related to COVID19 during the boarding, travel and at destination.
1. CSMT-Sawantwadi Road-CSMT Special (16 trips)
01101 special will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 23.05 hrs daily from 15.8.2020 to 22.8.2020 and arrive Sawantwadi Road at 09.30 hrs next day.
01102 special will leave Sawantwadi Road at 10.10 hrs daily from 16.8.2020 to 23.8.2020 and arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 21.40 hrs same day.
Halts: Dadar,Thane, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chilpun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal.
2. LTT-Kudal-LTT special (16 trips)
01103 special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 23.50 hrs daily from 15.8.2020 to 22.8.2020 and arrive Kudal at 10.30 hrs next day.
01104 special will leave Kudal at 12.00 hrs daily from 16.8.2020 to 23.8.2020 and arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 23.00 hrs same day.

Western Railway to run additional trains
For the convenience of passengers during Ganapati Festival and to clear the extra rush during the festive season, Western Railway will run 20 trips of 5 Special trains, i.e. 2 from Mumbai Central to Sawantwadi Road, 2 from Bandra Terminus to Sawantwadi Road and one from Bandra Terminus to Kudal on special fare. The details of the these trains are as under:
1. Train No. 09001/ 09002 Mumbai Central – Sawantwadi Road (Weekly) Special Train on Special fare [4 trips]
Train No. 09001 Mumbai Central – Sawantwadi Road Weekly Special Train will leave Mumbai Central at 23.55 hrs on Wednesday to reach Vasai Road at 01.10 hrs and will arrive Sawantwadi Road at 12.40 hrs on Thursday. This train will run on 19th and 26th August, 2020. Similarly, in return direction Train No. 09002 Sawantwadi Road – Mumbai Central Weekly Special Train will leave Sawantwadi Road at 13.40 hrs on Thursday & will reach Vasai Road at 01.15 hrs and at Mumbai Central at 03.30 hrs on Friday. Train No. 09061 Bandra Terminus – Kudal Weekly Special Train will leave Bandra Terminus at 15.00 hrs on Thursday & will reach Vasai Road at 16.00 hrs and at Kudal at 04.30 hrs on Friday. This train will run on 20th and 27th August, 2020. Similarly, in return direction Train No. 09062 Kudal – Bandra Terminus Weekly Special Train will leave Kudal at 05.30 hrs on Friday & will reach Vasai Road at 17.40 hrs and at Bandra Terminus at 19.15 hrs on Saturday. This train will run on 21stand 28th August, 2020. The train will halt at Borivali, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Sawarda, Aravali Road, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali and Sindhudurg stations in both directions. The train will have General Second Class coaches.
