South Eastern Railway recently raised maximum speeds on the Andul-Kharagpur-Tatanagar section to 130 kmph. The earlier maximum allowed speed on this route was 110 kmph. As a result, the zone has announced changes in arrival and departure in timings of some trains. The change takes effect from 1st April 2021.

02829 Howrah-Tatanagar Special will leave Howrah at 17.25 hrs instead of 17.20 hrs. In the return direction, 02830 Tatanagar-Howrah Special will arrive in Howrah at 10.15 hrs instead of 10.20 hrs.
02817 Santragachi-Pune Special will leave Santragachi at 18.00 hrs instead of 17.55 hrs. In the return direction, 02818 Pune-Santragachi Special will arrive at Santragachi at 18.30 hrs instead of 18.35 hrs.
