Ahmedabad-Delhi Bullet Train Project: NHSRCL Invites Alignment, Traffic Survey Bids

Moving a step forward on the Ahmedabad-Delhi high-speed rail project, the National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) has invited bids for key work for the preparation of the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the project.

NHSRCL has invited bids for carrying out of ridership and traffic studies, preparation of GADs, final alignment design using LIDAR and aerial imagery as well as utility surveys.

The Ahmedabad-Delhi High Speed railway line is to be approximately 880 km and will connect important tourist destinations Udaipur and Jaipur on the route to Delhi.

The tenders are to be opened between 22nd and 29th of September 2020 as per individual schedules.

NHSRCL has already invited bids for location surveys and other DPR preparation related work for the Delhi-Varanasi corridor.

Other high-speed rail links reportedly in the works are between Mumbai-Nagpur, Mumbai-Hyderabad, Mysuru-Bengaluru-Chennai, Varanasi-Howrah and Delhi-Ludhiana.
