Central Railway’s (CR) Bhusawal Division successfully commissioned Automatic Block Signalling (ABS) on the 21.02-km Jalgaon–Shirsoli–Mhasavad section on September 8, 2026.
Salient features are as follows:
- Four-aspect auto signalling with Frausher make MSDAC in dual detection & real-time monitoring, with supervisory track section and auto reset mode
- 29 New Auto signals, 8 semi-auto signals as per SIP & Roll Plan
- 150 Nos of MSDAC-DP (72 Nos on UP line & 78 Nos on DN line)
- 48-fiber OFC laying done
- FN-MUX is used for ICC as well as for ABS display at station
- Enhanced safety and reliability with ELDs, fuse alarm safety & RDSO-approved fire alarm system.
- Earthing of auto huts as per RDSO TAN
- Alteration in SHIRSOLI KYOSAN EI -62 routes.
- Provision of EI at AH-36, AH-35 of Siemens make
- In this work, auto huts were constructed as a part of the composite work of ABS.
The commssioning of automatic signalling on the Jalgaon–Shirsoli–Mhasavad section of CR’s Bhusawal Division will improve safety, reliability and efficiency of train operations.
