Dedicated freight corridor news updates

Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Ltd (DFCCIL) has signed up a new client under its Trucks on Train (ToT) service.

Operations for this service has commenced for AVG Logistics Pvt Ltd between New Palanpur and New Rewari. Regular operations of multiple trucks in both directions is proposed,said DFCCIL.

Record interchange at New Dadri

On February 19, 2026, New Dadri Station recorded its highest-ever interchange, handling 56 trains in a single day between New Boraki Junction and the Inland Container Depot (ICD), Dadri.

Of the 56 trains, 30 were taken over into the DFC system and 26 were handed over by the system. New Boraki Junction and the Inland Container Depot (ICD), Dadri together form one of the most important rail–logistics interfaces on the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC), acting as a gateway between high-capacity freight trains and containerized cargo distribution across North India.

New modern running room inaugurated at DDU

Praveen Kumar, MD/DFCCIL inaugurated new modern crew running room at Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay (DDU) on February 19,2026. He was accompanied by Rajnish Agarwal, DRM (Prayagraj); Yatendra Kumar, PCEE, Northern Central Railway; Uday Singh Meena, DRM (Deen Dayal Upadhyaya); Shobhit Bhatnagar, Director/OP & BD; Pawan Kumar Rai, Director/PP; and Atul Kumar, CGM (DDU).
