RITES tender for Devgarh Madariya and Marwar Junction Final Location Survey
Railway PSU (public sector undertaking) RITES Ltd. has invited a tender for a Topographic Survey using Drone LiDAR/Drone Photogrammetry for the Final Location Survey (FLS) of the proposed 71.812 km new line between Devgarh Madariya and Marwar Junction in North Western Railway’s (NWR) Ajmer Division.
The proposed line passes through the Todgarh – Raoli Wildlife Sanctuary in Rajasthan. Once completed, the line will provide a direct rail connection between Mavli Jn and Marwar Jn.
Ministry of Railways appoints Competent Authorities for land acquisition in NCR’s Dadri-Daud Khan 4th line project
The Ministry of Railways has appointed three officials as competent authority for land acquisition for the Dadri – Daudkhan 4th Line Special Railway Project under North Central Railway (Construction Organization) in the districts of Aligarh, Bulandshahr and Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh.
The officials are Special Land Acquisition Officer (J.O) Aligarh, Additional District Magistrate (F/R). Bulandshahr and Additional District Magistrate (L.A), Gautam Buddha Nagar.
Once completed, the line will ease congestion on Indian Railways’ busiest section between New Delhi and Kanpur.
Final land acquisition notification issued for Dagori Nipania 4th line in SECR
The Ministry of Railways has issued a final land acquisition notification for the 6.86-km Dagori – Nipania 4th line project under South East Central Railway (SECR). The line falls under Baloda Bazar – Bhatapara district of Chhattisgarh.
Once completed, this line will de-congest the freight heavy corridor in SECR.
SECR floats Rs 455 crore EPC tender for Dalli Rajhara – Rowghat – Jagdalpur new line
South East Central Railway (SECR) has invited an Engineering Procurement & Construction (EPC) tender worth Rs 455.02 crore for Package-I of the Dalli Rajhara – Rowghat – Jagdalpur new line in Chhattisgarh. The EPC tender for Package-I is for the 140-km Jagdalpur – Rowghat section.
The tender involves construction of a 29.9-km new line from Kurkanar to Bhanpuri including construction of Bhanpuri Railway Station (Chainage 12+700 to 42+600). The tender stipulates the period of completion of the project at 730 days. Once completed, the line will improve rail connectivity in the Bastar region situated in South Chhattisgarh.
ECR floats Rs 43.35 crore tender for separate feeder wire to support 160-kmph train operations in DDU division
East Central Railway (ECR) has invited a tender worth Rs 43.35 crore for the provision of a separate feeder wire to support 160 km/hour operations on the Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay (DDU) Division.
The section under DDU division to be covered is DDU- Sonnagar Jn. This traction distribution infrastructure upgrade to support high speed train operations has been given a project completion period of 18 months. Once completed, it will strengthen power supply reliability for 160 km/h train operations.
