IR set to run several trains to Kevadiya; PM Modi to inaugurate them today

Indian Railways is all set to run several trains to connect World’s Tallest Statue, the Statue of Unity at Kevadiya near Vadodara in Gujarat starting Sunday.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off eight new trains today via video conferencing.

Railway Minister Shri Piyush Goyal tweeted about this.

The details of these trains are as follows:

Train No. 09103/09104 Varanasi-Kevadiya Mahamana Superfast Express (Weekly)

In its inaugural run, Train No. 09130 Varanasi-Kevadiya Mahamana Superfast Special Express will depart from Varanasi at 11.12 hrs on 17th January, 2021 and will reach Kevadiya at 14.57 hrs, the next day.

Train No. 20903/04 Vadodara-Varanasi Superfast Mahamana Express which was running till Vadodara, has been extended up to Kevadiya and will now run as Train No. 09103/04 Kevadiya-Varanasi Mahamana Superfast Express.

As a regular service, Train No. 09103 Kevadiya-Varanasi Mahamana Superfast Express (Weekly) will depart from Kevadiya every Tuesday at 18:55 hrs and will reach Varanasi at 23:10 hrs the next day. This train will run with effect from 19th January, 2021.

Similarly, Train No. 09104 Varanasi-Kevadiya Mahamana Superfast Express (Weekly) will depart from Varanasi every Thursday at 05:25 hrs and  will reach Kevadiya at 09.15 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 21st January, 2021.

The train will halt at Vadodara Jn., Bharuch, Surat, Nandurbar, Amalner, Bhusaval, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna and Prayagraj Chheoki stations in both directions. The train comprises First AC, AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and Second Class seating coaches.

Train No. 02927/02928 Dadar-Kevadiya Superfast Express (Daily)

In its inaugural run, Train No. 09127 Dadar-Kevadiya Superfast Special Express will depart from Dadar at 11.12 hrs on 17th January, 2021 and will reach Kevadiya at 18.42 hrs, the same day. 

Train No. 12927/28 Dadar-Vadodara Superfast Express which was running till Vadodara, has been extended up to Kevadiya and will now run as Train No. 02927/28 Dadar-Kevadiya Superfast Express.

As a regular service, Train No. 02927 Dadar-Kevadiya Superfast Express will depart from Dadar daily at 23:50 hrs and will reach Kevadiya at 07:25 hrs, the next day. This train will run with effect from 17th January, 2021. 

Similarly, Train No. 02928 Kevadiya-DadarSuperfast  Express will depart from Kevadiya daily at 21:25 hrs and  will reach Dadar at 05.30 hrs, the next day. This train will run with effect from 17th January, 2021.

The train will halt at Borivali, Valsad, Surat, Bharuch and Vadodara Jn., station in both directions. Train no. 02927 will also halt at Vishwamitri station. The train comprises First AC, AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and Second Class seating coaches.

Train Nos. 09247/09248 & 09249/ 09250 Ahmedabad-Kevadiya Jan Shatabdi (Daily)

In its inaugural run, Train No. 09249 Ahmedabad-Kevadiya Jan Shatabdi Special Express will depart from Ahmedabad at 11.12 hrs on 17th January, 2021 will reach Kevadiya at 14.42 hrs, the same day.

Similarly, Train No. 09250 Kevadiya-Ahmedabad Jan Shatabdi Return Special Express will depart from Kevadiya at 20:20 hrs and will reach Ahmedabad at 23:45 hrs, the same day. 

 As a regular service, Train No. 09247 Ahmedabad-Kevadiya Jan Shatabdi Express will depart from Ahmedabad daily at 07:55 hrs and will reach Kevadiya at 10:40 hrs, the same day.

 This train will run with effect from 18th January, 2021. Similarly, Train No. 09248 Kevadiya – Ahmedabad Jan Shatabdi will depart from Kevadiya daily at 11:15 hrs and  will reach Ahmedabad at 14.00 hrs. This train will run with effect from 18th January, 2021.

 As a regular service, Train No. 09249 Ahmedabad-Kevadiya Jan Shatabdi will depart from Ahmedabad daily at 15:20 hrs and will reach Kevadiya at 18:20 hrs, the same day. This train will run with effect from 18th January, 2021.

Similarly, Train No. 09250 Kevadiya – Ahmedabad Jan Shatabdi will depart from Kevadiya daily at 20:20 hrs and  will reach Ahmedabad at 23.05 hrs. This train will run with effect from 18th January, 2021.

Both these train pairs will halt at Vadodara  station in both directions.  The train comprises Vistadome, AC Chair Car Executive Class, AC Chair Car and Non-AC Chair Car coaches.

Train No. 09145/ 09146  Kevadiya-Hazrat Nizamuddin Superfast Express
(Bi-Weekly)

In its inaugural run, Train No. 09146 Hazrat Nizamuddin-Kevadiya Superfast Special Express will depart from Hazrat Nizamuddin at 11.12 hrs on 17th January, 2021 and will reach Kevadiya at 01.15 hrs, the next day.

As a regular service, Train No. 09145 Kevadiya-Hazrat Nizamuddin Superfast Express (Bi-Weekly) will depart from Kevadiya every Wednesday and Friday at 15:20 hrs and will reach Hazrat Nizamuddin at 05:45 hrs, the next day. This train will run with effect from 20th January, 2021.

Similarly, Train No. 09146 Hazrat Nizamuddin – Kevadiya  Superfast Express (Bi-Weekly) will depart from Hazrat Nizamuddin  every Tuesday and Thursday at 13:25 hrs and  will reach Kevadiya at 03.20 hrs. This train will run with effect from 19th January, 2021.

The train will halt at Vadodara Jn., Godhra, Dahod, Ratlam, Kota and Mathura stations in both directions. The train comprises AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and Second Class Seating coaches.

Train No. 09106 Rewa-Kevadiya Mahamana Superfast  Express (Weekly)

In its inaugural run, Train No. 09106 Rewa-Kevadiya Mahamana Superfast Special Express will depart from Rewa at 11.12 hrs on 17th January, 2021 and will reach Kevadiya at 07.47 hrs, the next day. 

Train No. 20905/06 Vadodara-Rewa Superfast Mahamana Express which was running till Vadodara, has been extended up to Kevadiya and will now run as Train No. 09105/06 Kevadiya-RewaMahamana Superfast Express. As a regular service,

Train No. 09105 Kevadiya-RewaMahamana Superfast Express (Weekly) will depart from Kevadiya every Friday at 18:55 hrs and will reach Rewa at 17:15 hrs, the next day. This train will run with effect from 22nd January, 2021.

Similarly, Train No. 09106 Rewa-Kevadiya Mahamana Superfast Express (Weekly) train will depart from Rewa every Saturday at 20:55 hrs and  will reach Kevadiya at 17.40 hrs, the next day. This train will run with effect from 23rd January, 2021.

 The train will halt at Vadodara Jn., Bharuch, Surat, Amalner, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Pipariya, Gadarwara, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Katni, Maihar and Satna stations in both directions.  The train comprises First AC, AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and Second Class seating coaches.

Train No. 09120/09119Kevadiya-MGR Chennai Central SuperfastExpress (Weekly)

In its inaugural run, Train No. 09119 MGR Chennai Central – Kevadiya Superfast Special Express will depart from MGR Chennai Central at 11.12 hrs on 17thJanuary, 2021 and will reach Kevadiya at 14.52 hrs, the next day.

As a regular service, Train No. 09120Kevadiya-MGR Chennai Central Superfast Express (Weekly) will depart from Kevadiya every Wednesday at 09:15hrs and will reach MGR Chennai Central at 16:00hrs, the next day. This train will run with effect from 20th January, 2021.

Similarly, Train No. 09119MGR Chennai Central – Kevadiya  Superfast Express (Weekly) will depart from MGR Chennai Central, every Sunday at 22:30 hrs and will reach Kevadiya at 03.00 hrs, on Tuesday. This train will run with effect from 24th January, 2021.

The train will halt at Vadodara Jn., Surat, Vasai Road, Kalyan Jn., Pune Jn., Solapur Jn., Raichur, Guntakal Jn., Cuddapah and ReniguntaJn. stations in both directions.  Train No. 09120 will also halt at Perambur station.The train comprises AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and Second Class Seating coaches.

Train No. 09107/09108, 09109/ 09110 & 09113/ 09114 Pratapnagar-Kevadiya Mail Express MEMU (Daily)

In its inaugural run, Train No. 09117 Pratapnagar-KevadiyaMail Express MEMU Special will depart from Pratapnagar at 11.12 hrs on 17thJanuary, 2021 and will reach Kevadiya at 12.57 hrs, the same day. 

Similarly, in its inaugural run, Train No. 09118 Kevadiya-Pratapnagar Mail Express MEMU Special will depart from Kevadiya at 11:12 hrs and will reach Pratapnagar at 12:32 hrs, the same day. 

The train will halt at Dabhoi and Chandod stations in both directions. The train comprises Second Class Seating coaches.

 As a regular service, Train No. 09107Pratapnagar-Kevadiya Mail Express MEMU will depart from Pratapnagardailyat 07:10hrs and will reach Kevadiya at 08:35hrs the same day. This train will run with effect from 18th January, 2021.

Similarly, Train No. 09108 Kevadiya-Pratapnagar Mail Express MEMUwill depart from Kevadiya daily at 09:40 hrs and  will reach Pratapnagar at 11.00 hrs, the same day. This train will run with effect from 18th January, 2021.

As a regular service, Train No. 09109 Pratapnagar-Kevadiya Mail Express MEMU will depart from Pratapnagar daily at 12:20hrs and will reach Kevadiya at 13:45hrs, the same day. This train will run with effect from 18th January, 2021.

Similarly, Train No. 09110 Kevadiya  -Pratapnagar Mail Express MEMU will depart from Kevadiya daily at 14:00 hrs and  will reach Pratapnagar at 15.25 hrs, the same day. This train will run with effect from 18th January, 2021.

As a regular service, Train No. 09113 Pratapnagar-Kevadiya Mail Express MEMUwill depart from Pratapnagar daily at 15:35hrs and will reach Kevadiya at 17:00hrs, the same day. This train will run with effect from 17th January, 2021.

Similarly, Train No. 09114 Kevadiya-Pratapnagar Mail Express MEMUwill depart from Kevadiya daily at 21:55 hrs and  will reach Pratapnagar at 23.20 hrs, the same day. This train will run with effect from 17th January, 2021.

These three train pairs will halt at Dabhoi  station in both directions.  The train comprises Second Class Seating coaches.

Bookings

The booking for train numbers 09117, 09118, 09107, 09108, 09113, 09114, 09109, 09110, 09127, 02927 & 02928 have opened from 16th January, 2021 and booking for Train Nos. 09247, 09248, 09249, 09250, 09103, 09145, 09120 & 09105, will open from 17th January, 2021at nominated PRS counters and on IRCTC website.
