The Commissioner of Railway Safety (Central Circle) Mumbai will inspect the route electrification works of two sections located in Central Railway’s Solapur division on December 8 and 9 respectively.
The sections are Kurduwadi-Pangri single line section between Kurduwadi – Latur on December 8 and the Solapur-Hotgi double line on December 9.
The inspection schedule on December 8 includes an inspection of the Pangri-Kurduwadi section aboard a tower wagon followed by a speed trial using an inspection car in the reverse direction. On December 9, the CRS will first inspect the Solapur-Hotgi section aboard a tower wagon followed by a speed trial in the reverse direction aboard an inspection car.
Route electrification of these sections has been done by rail PSU RVNL.
