Train services between Mettupalayam and Udagamandalam have been cancelled on Sunday, January 10, 2021 due to a landslide between Kallar – Hillgrove railway stations of the Nilgiri Mountain Railway on Saturday January 9,2021.
Tracks have been obstructed said a statement from Southern Railway (SR) . The details of train cancellations are as follows:-
Partial Cancellation of Train Service on January 9, 2021
Train Number 06137 Udagamandalam – Mettupalayam special train of January 9, 2021 has been partially cancelled between Hillgrove – Mettupalayam.
B. Full Cancellation of Train Services on January 10, 2021
1. Train No.06136 Mettupalayam – Udagamandalam special train of January 10, 2021 has been fully cancelled.
2. Train No.06137 Udagamandalam – Mettupalayam special train of January 10, 2021 has been fully cancelled.
The three pairs of train services between Coonoor – Udagamandalam will run as usual on January 10,2021, SR added.
