Madanmahal to be India’s fourth all-woman railway station

Madan Mahal on West Central Railway will become the fourth station on Indian Railways to be run by an all-woman staff on March 8, 2019.

All male employees at Madanmahal have been transferred to the next station; Jabalpur, a statement said.

Matunga suburban station on Central Railway (since July 2017), Gandhinagar Jaipur on North Western Railway (since January 2018), and Ajni on Central Railway were the stations to be staffed by only women earlier.
