Mumbai passenger reservation system (PRS) will be shut down from 23.45 hours of March 12,2026 to 03.15 hours March 13, 2026 for Disk De-fragmentation work according to a statement by Central Railway on Wednesday. Due to the shutdown, following services will not be available during the above period:
- Passenger Reservation System,
- Coaching refund,
- Charting activities,
- Train Firing,
- IVRS,
- Current Reservation,
- Chart Display,
- Touch Screen,
- Refund counters and
- Coaching refund terminal
However, Ticket deposit receipt (TDR) will be issued for refund as per extant refund rules. Internet booking for Mumbai PRS trains will not be available during the above mentioned period.
