Travelling through Mumbai’s ever crowded and noisy CSMT station makes you anxious? Now with Central Railway’s Personal Care Centre, you can relax, enjoy a relaxing massage and pamper yourself with some salon facilities at the station.
CR has announced the launch of a new Personal Care Centre outlet at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj (CSMT) station. The outlet will feature a body massage chair, a physiotherapy facility attended to by qualified therapists, in addition to services like hairdressing, shaving, facial and more.
The outlet will also sell emergency items, generic & Ayurvedic medicines, cosmetic products for use on the go if the need arises. This is the first time such a facility has been made available.’
Central Railway Shoring Up Non-Fare Revenue With Personal Care Centre And Other Initiatives
Central Railway’s Mumbai CSMT Personal Care Centre will be operated by a private licensee. The initiative will fetch Rs. 75 lakhs in revenue over five years, according to a statement by the zone. CR’s Mumbai division has earned 21.96 crores worth of non-fare revenue in the current financial year so far. The zone says it has earned 28.88 crores in non-fare revenue this year.
