North Central Railway (NCR) loaded 14.5 million tonnes freight which is an improvement of 8.7 per cent over last year’s loading for the same period.
Till January 2021, revenue from freight loading in current fiscal was Rs 1458 crore, which is Rs 352 crore higher as compared to revenue for the corresponding period of last year. Revenue from scrap sale was Rs 223.65 crore.
Performance indicators
Average speed of goods trains over NCR during the current financial year to date was 44.43 Kmph which is an improvement of 85 per cent over last year.
Prayagraj division achieved highest ever daily throughput of 386 trains on 1st as well as 21st of February 2021.
Punctuality of passenger trains on NCR stood at 86 per cent on February 22,2021. Last year, punctuality was 55 per cent during the same period.
