Satish Kumar Kashyup, General Manager, Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW) along with other Sr. Officers visited the workshop on 1st and 2nd December 2020. He inspected the various Shops, like – Loco testing & assembly shops and Traction Motor shops on 1st Dec 2020.
The GM visited Shell , Bogie & Wheel shops in manufacturing group of shops & also visited Steel Foundry shop. He was accompanied by the Departmental Heads, Officers, Staff & Supervisors of respective shops.
During his inspection, he appreciated the efforts of officers, staff & supervisors of CLW in producing record numbers of 40 electric locomotives per month for the last three consecutive months despite of prevailing COVID-19 situation which is a step by CLW towards “Make in India” & “Vocal for Local” campaign of Hon’ble Prime Minister.
He also interacted with the officers , staff & supervisors in respective shops and listen to their day to day working experiences. He stressed on quality and further scaling up of production.
