Train services were regulated on East Coast Railway (ECoR) after the Congress Party called for a Bandh in Odisha against rise in fuel prices on Monday.
According to a statement issued by ECoR, agitation started at Talcher Station at about 0600hrs to 1300hrs, at Bhubaneswar from 0700hrs to 0755hrs, at Dhenkanal from 0730hrs to 0820hrs, at Chhatrapur from 0850hrs to 0855hrs and at Puri from 1050hrs to 1115hrs.
A few trains were controlled at different stations as follows:-
02880 Bhubaneswar-LTT Special detained at Bhubaneswar Station from 0720hrs to 0800hrs.
08493 Bhubaneswar-Balangir Special was detained at Dhenkanal from 0748hrs to 0820hrs.
08448 Koraput-Bhubaneswar Special was detained at Dhenkanal from 0747hrs to 0820hrs.
02815 Puri-Anand Vihar Special left Puri at 1120hrs instead of its scheduled time at 1100hrs.
