Goyal has been seen by many as one of the key reformers of the railway organisation over the past few years. He has expedited work on key infrastructure projects like electrification and capacity enhancement.
His continuance in the ministry sends a signal that the reform and infrastructure buildup in the sector will also continue for the foreseeable future.
