Western Railway (WR) has decided to extend the run of 9 Special Trains. Four pairs of special trains will be extended by Western Railway between Surat-Puri, Gandhidham-Vishakhapatnam, Ahmedabad – Yesvantpur and Gandhidham-KSR Bengaluru.
Five pairs of Special trains between Jodhpur-KSR Bengaluru, Ajmer-Mysuru, Yesvantpur-Jaipur, KSR Bengaluru-Ajmer and KSR Bengaluru-Jodhpur will pass over Western Railway.
According to WR, the dates up to which the additional trips have been extended are as under:
1. Train No 02828/02827 Surat – Puri Superfast Special (Weekly) [16 trips]
Train No 02828 Surat – Puri Special will depart Surat every Tuesday at 08.30 hrs & will reach Puri at 16.15 hrs the next day. This train will run from 9th February, 2021 to 30th March, 2021. Similarly, Train No 02827 Puri – Surat Special will leave Puri every Sunday at 19.45 hrs & will reach Surat at 03.20 hrs on Tuesday. This train will run from 7th February, 2021 to 28th March, 2021. Enroute this train will halt at Jalgaon Jn, Bhusaval Jn, Nagpur, Gondia Jn, Durg, Raipur Jn, Kantabanji, Titlagarh, Balangir, Bargarh Road, Sambalpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Bhubaneswar and Khurda Rd Jn station in both directions. This train comprises of AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper class and Second class seating coaches.
2. Train No 08502/08501 Gandhidham – Visakhapatnam Special (Weekly) [16 trips]
Train No 08502 Gandhidham – Visakhapatnam Special will depart Gandhidham every Sunday at 22.45 hrs & will reach Visakhapatnam at 14.35 hrs on Tuesday. This train will run from 7th February, 2021 to 28th March, 2021. Similarly, Train No 08501 Visakhapatnam – Gandhidham Special will leave Visakhapatnam every Thursday at 17.35 hrs & will reach Gandhidham at 09.00 hrs on Saturday. This train will run from 4th February, 2021 to 25th March, 2021. Enroute this train will halt at Bhachau, Samakhiali Jn, Viramgam Jn, Ahmedabad Jn, Anand Jn, Vadodara Jn, Ankleshwar Jn, Surat, Nandurbar, Jalgaon Jn, Bhusaval Jn, Malkapur, Akola Jn, Badnera Jn, Wardha Jn, Chandrapur Maharashtra, Balharshah, Sirpur Kaghaznagar, Ramagundam, Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada Jn, Eluru, Rajamundry, Samalkot Jn and Duvvada stations in both directions. This train comprises of AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper class, Second class seating and Pantry Car coaches.
3. Train No. 06501/06502 Ahmedabad – Yesvantpur Special (Weekly) [16 Trips]
Train No 06501 Ahmedabad – Yesvantpur special will depart Ahmedabad every Tuesday at 18.40 hrs & will reach Yesvantpur at 04.45 hrs on Thursday. This train will run till 30th March, 2021. Similarly, Train No 06502 Yesvantpur – Ahmedabad special will leave Yesvantpur every Sunday at 13.30 hrs & will reach Ahmedabad at 02.20 hrs on Tuesday. This train will run till 28th March, 2021. Enroute this train will halt at Anand Jn, Vadodara Jn, Ankleshwar Jn, Surat, Nandurbar, Jalgaon Jn, Manmad Jn, Kopargaon, Belapur, Ahmadnagar, Daund Jn, Solapur Jn, Kalaburagi, Wadi, Raichur, Manthralayam Rd, Adoni, Guntakal Jn, Anantapur, Dharmavaram Jn and Hindupur stations in both directions. This train comprises of AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper class, Second class seating coaches.
4. Train No 06505/06506 Gandhidham – KSR Bengaluru Special (Weekly) [16 Trips]
Train No 06505 Gandhidham – KSR Bengaluru special will depart Gandhidham every Tuesday at 09.00 hrs & will reach KSR Bengaluru at 23.10 hrs next day. This train will run till 30th March, 2021. Similarly, Train No 06506 KSR Bengaluru – Gandhidham special will leave Ksr Bengaluru every Saturday at 22.15 hrs & will reach Gandhidham at 11.00 hrs on third day. This train will run till 27th March, 2021. Enroute this train will halt at Samakhiali Jn, Dhrangandhra, Viramgam Jn, Ahmedabad, Nadiad Jn, Vadodara Jn, Ankleshwar Jn, Surat, Vasai Road, Bhivandi Rd, Kalyan Jn, Pune Jn, Satara, Karad, Sangli, Miraj Jn, Belagavi, Londa Jn, Dharwad, Hubbali Jn, Haveri, Ranibennur, Harihar, Davangere, Birur Jn, Arsikere Jn, Tiptur, Tumkur,Yasvantpur and Malleswaram stations in both directions. This train comprises of AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper class and Second class seating coaches.
5. Train No 06507/06508 Jodhpur – KSR Bengaluru Special (Bi-Weekly) [36 Trips]
Train No 06507 Jodhpur – KSR Bengaluru special will depart Jodhpur every Thursday & Saturday at 05.15 hrs & will reach KSR Bengaluru at 03.00 hrs on Saturday & Monday resp. This train will run till 3rd April, 2021. Similarly, Train No 06508 KSR Bengaluru – Jodhpur special will leave KSR Bengaluru every Monday & Wednesday at 22.15 hrs & will reach Jodhpur at 14.35 hrs on Wednesday & Friday resp. This train will run till 31st March, 2021. On Western Railway, the train will halt at Palanpur Jn, Mahesana Jn, Ahmedabad, Nadiad Jn, Anand Jn, Vadodara Jn, Bharuch Jn, Surat, Navsari, Valsad, Vapi and Vasai Road stations in both directions. This train comprises of First AC, AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper class and Second class seating coaches.
6. Train No 06209/06210 Ajmer – Mysuru Special (Bi-Weekly) [34 Trips]
Train No 06209 Ajmer – Mysuru special will depart Ajmer every Friday & Sunday at 06.00 hrs & will reach Mysuru at 02.15 hrs on Sunday & Tuesday resp. This train will run till 2nd April, 2021. Similarly, Train No 06210 Mysore – Ajmer special will leave Mysuru every Tuesday & Thursday at 19.00 hrs & will reach Ajmer at 15.10 hrs on Thursday & Saturday resp. This train will run till 30th March, 2021. On Western Railway, the train will halt at Palanpur Jn, Mahesana Jn, Ahmedabad, Nadiad Jn, Anand Jn, Vadodara Jn, Bharuch Jn, Surat, Valsad, Vapi, Palghar and Vasai Road stations in both directions. This train comprises of First AC, AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper class and Second class seating coaches.
7. Train No. 06521/06522 Yesvantpur – Jaipur Suvidha Special (Weekly) [16 Trips]
Train No. 06521 Yesvantpur – Jaipur Suvidha Special (Weekly) will depart from Yesvantpur at 11.30 hrs every Thursday and will reach Jaipur at 06.35 hrs on Saturday. This train will run till 25th March, 2021. Similarly, Train No. 06522 Jaipur – Yesvantpur Suvidha Festival Special (Weekly) will depart from Jaipur at 22.15 hrs every Saturday and will reach Yesvantpur at 18.25 hrs on Monday. This train will run till 27th March, 2021. On Western Railway, the train will halt at Vasai Road, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Mandsor and Chittaurgarh stations in both directions. This train comprises of AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class, Second Class Seating and Pantry coaches.
8. Train No. 06205/06206 KSR Bengaluru – Ajmer Special (Weekly) [16 Trips]
Train No. 06205 KSR Bengaluru – Ajmer Special will depart from KSR Bengaluru at 17.00 hrs every Friday and will reach Ajmer at 17.30 hrs on Sunday. This train will run till 26th March, 2021. Similarly, Train No. 06206 Ajmer – KSR Bengaluru Special will depart from Ajmer at 05.30 hrs every Monday and will reach KSR Bengaluru at 05.30 hrs on Wednesday. This train will run till 29th March, 2021. On Western Railway, the train will halt at Vasai Road, Vapi, Valsad, Surat, Vadodara, Anand, Nadiad, Ahmedabad, Mahesana and Palanpur stations in both directions. This train comprises of AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class, Second Class Seating and Pantry coaches.
9. Train No. 06534/06533 KSR Bengaluru – Jodhpur Special (Weekly) [16 Trips]
Train No. 06534 KSR Bengaluru – Jodhpur Special will depart from KSR Bengaluru at 17.00 hrs every Sunday and will reach Jodhpur at 14.35 hrs on Tuesday. This train will run till 28th March, 2021. Similarly, Train No. 06533 Jodhpur – KSR Bengaluru Special will depart from Jodhpur at 05.55 hrs every Wednesday and will reach KSR Bengaluru at 03.00 hrs on Friday. This train will run till 31st March, 2020. On Western Railway, the train will halt at Vasai Road, Valsad, Surat, Vadodara, Anand, Ahmedabad and Mahesana stations in both directions. This train comprises of AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class, Second Class Seating and Pantry coaches.
Train No. 08406/08405 Ahmedabad – Puri Special and Train No. 08402/08401 Okha – Puri Special will now run as Superfast Mail Express trains with immediate effect.
The booking for the extended trips of Train No. 02828, 08502, 06501 & 06505 will open from 22nd January, 2021 at nominated reservation counters and on IRCTC website.
