South Eastern Railway Kharagpur Division successfully commissioned electronic interlocking at Jaleswar Railway Station situated on the Howrah Chennai main line.
The commissioning was done at 1745 hours on August 30,2026. The details of the EI system is as follows:
System Configuration: New Electronic Interlocking (EI) system with 114 routes
Architecture: Distributed Interlocking 8+8 Hot Standby (Central 2+2, North 2+2, South1 2+2, South2 2+2) with Dual VDU.
