Indian Railways will start a new weekly special train between Tirunelveli and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra. Several cancellations and diversions of trains are also planned due to infrastructure work underway on Southern and Central Railway. See details below.
New Train No.06787/06788 Tirunelveli – Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra – Tirunelveli Weekly Special:
With the composition of One– AC 2 Tier, One-AC 3 Tier Coaches, Nine-Sleeper Class Coaches, Four– General Second Class Coaches and Two– Luggage cum Brake Vans, Train No.06787 Tirunelveli – Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Weekly Special will leave Tirunelveli on Mondays at 16.45 hrs on and from 12th April, 2021 and reach Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 10.35 hrs, the fourth day until further advice
In return direction Train No. 06788 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra – Tirunelveli Weekly Special will leave Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra on Thursdays at 22.30 hrs on and from 15th April, 2021 and reach Tirunelveli at 19.00 hrs, the fourth day until further advice
Train No. 06788 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra –Tirunelveli Weekly Special will have additional stoppages at Julana, Barsola and Uchana

Cancellations and Diversions due to Doubling work between Madurai and Virudunagar
Consequent to the dislocation in Madurai – Virudunagar section, where doubling work is going on, the following are the changes in pattern of train service
Partial Cancellation:
· Train No.06181 Chennai Egmore – Sengottai Special Train leaving Chennai Egmore at 20.25 hrs from 01st April, 2021 to 03rd April, 2021 is partially cancelled between Manamadurai and Sengottai
· Train No.06182 Sengottai – Chennai Egmore Special Train leaving Sengottail at 16.45 hrs from 02nd April, 2021 to 04th April, 2021 is partially cancelled between Sengottai and Manamadurai
· Train No.06127 Chennai Egmore – Guruvayur Special Train leaving Chennai Egmore at 08.40 hrs from April, 2021 to 04th April, 2021 is partially cancelled between Chennai Egmore and Tirunelveli
· Train No.06128 Guruvayur – Chennai Egmore Special Train leaving Guruvayur at 21.30 hrs from 01st April, 2021 to 03rd April, 2021 is partially cancelled between Tirunelveli and Chennai Egmore
Diversion:
· Train No.09568 Okha – Tutucorin Special Train of 02nd April, 2021 will be diverted via Madurai and Virudunagar instead of Madurai, Manamadurai and Virudunagar
· Train No.09567 Tuticorin – Okha Special Train of 04th April, 2021 will be diverted via Virudunagar and Madurai instead of Virudunagar, Manamadurai and Madurai
Diversion of Services Due to Work on Bhalawandi-Bhigwan Section
Due to doubling works in Bhalawandi -Bhigwan section in Solapur Division of Central Railway from 01.4.2021 to 07.4.2021, the following trains are diverted as detailed below.
· Train No. 06339 Mumbai CSMT – Nagercoil Special train journey commencing on 01st, 03rd, 06th and 07th April, 2021 will be diverted via Konkan Railway, Shoranur and Erode.
· Train No. 06340 Nagercoil – Mumbai CSMT special train journey commencing on 02nd, 05th, 06th and 07th April, 2021 will be diverted via Erode, Shoranur and Konkan Railway.
· Train No. 06351 Mumbai CSMT – Nagercoil Special train journey commencing on 02nd and 05th April, 2021 will be diverted via Konkan Railway, Shoranur and Erode.
· Train No. 06352 Nagercoil – Mumbai CSMT special train journey commencing on 01st and 04th April, 2021 will be diverted via Erode, Shoranur and Konkan Railway.
Stoppage at Dindigul for Tejas Express
Railway Board has permitted stoppage for Train No.02613/02614 Chennai Egmore – Madurai – Chennai Egmore Tejas Special at Dindgul in lieu of Kodaikanal Road for a period of Six months on experimental basis with effect from 02nd April, 2021 to 02nd October, 2021as follows:-
Train No.02613 Chennai Egmore – Madurai Tejas Special Express (6 days a Week) will leave Chennai Egmore on all days except Thursdays with the stoppage at Dindigul (11.03(Arr)/11.05(Dep)) until 02nd October, 2021
In return direction Train No.02614 Madurai – Chennai Egmore Tejas Special Express (6 days a Week) with the stoppage at Dindigul at (15.45(Arr)/15.47(Dep)) until 02nd October, 2021
