SWR to run Timetabled Weekly Parcel Express Between Bengaluru and Delhi

South Western Railway has decided to run a weekly timetabled Parcel Special Express Train between Yesvantpur and Nizamuddin for two trips during the lockdown period.

The 7 coach parcel express is to help businesses move goods between cities on the route at a time when the lockdown has severely affected the availability of road transport.

Two trips of the special will be run:
Ex Yesvantpur on Mondays, April 6th and April 13th, 2020
Ex Nizamuddin on Wednesdays, April 8th and April 15th, 2020

Both Specials will run to a timetable, leaving Yesvantpur at 1900 hrs on Monday and reaching Nizamuddin at 1030 hrs on Wednesday. On the return trip, the trains will leave Nizamuddin at 2115 hrs on Wednesdays and reach Yesvantpur on Fridays at 1400 hrs.

The train will stop at Dharmavaram, Raichur, Wadi, Kalaburagi, Solapur, Daund, Manmad, Bhusawal, Khandwa, Itarsi, Bhopal, Bina, Jhansi, Agra, Mathura, Palwal between Yesvantpur and Nizamuddin.

In case no goods are to be loaded or unloaded at any of these stops, the train will skip them. No passengers are to be allowed in any of these trains.
