Southern Railway will add one AC three tier coach to train numbers 22653/54 and 22655 /56 effective October 26 and 30 respectively from Thiruvananthapuram. The extra coach will be added permanently and would be added from Nizamuddin effective October 28 and November 1 respectively.
However, the rake length of these weekly trains would remain at 23 coaches as one general coach would be done away with.
Periodicity of Jabalpur-Coimbatore express extended
West Central Railway has extended the periodicity of train number 02197/98 Jabapur Coimbatore express from November 2 to December 28,2019.
The above trains pass through Konkan Railway.
The train will halt at Narsinghpur, Gadarwara, Pipariya, Itarsi Jn., Harda, Khandwa, Bhusaval Jn., Manmad Jn., Igatpuri, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Kudal, Thivim, Madgaon Jn., Karwar, Kumta, Mookambika Road Byndoor, Kundapura, Udupi, Mulki, Mangaluru Jn., Kasaragod, Kanhangad, Payyanur, Kannur, Thalasaery, Vadakara, Kozhikkode, Tirur, Shoranur Jn. and Palghat stations.
Composition: Total 22 Coaches = 2 Tier AC – 01 Coach, 3 Tier AC – 04 Coaches, Sleeper – 11 Coaches, General – 04 Coaches, SLR – 02.
